With more than 38 years of real estate experience, Glade Knight founded Apple REIT Six, Inc., Apple REIT Seven, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc., Apple REIT Nine, Inc. and Apple REIT Ten, Inc. in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010 respectively and today serves as the companies' Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Knight also founded and served as the Chairman and CEO of Apple Hospitality Two from 1999 until May of 2007 when the lodging real estate investment trust was sold to an affiliate of ING Clarion. Apple Hospitality Five, Inc., also a successful hospitality REIT created by Mr. Knight, was sold to Inland American Real Estate Trust in October of 2007. In addition, Mr. Knight founded and served as the chairman and CEO of Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, Inc. (NYSE: TCR) from 1993 until 2005 when the company merged with Colonial Properties (NYSE: CLP).

Justin Knight serves as President for Apple REIT Six, Inc., Apple REIT Seven, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc., Apple REIT Nine, Inc. and Apple REIT Ten, Inc. Mr. Knight joined the companies in 2000 and has been a key player in developing the corporate infrastructure and strategies, negotiating more than $5 billion in acquisitions, and overseeing and supporting property renovations, a $425 million merger of two REITs, the sale of Apple Hospitality Two, Inc., the sale of Apple Hospitality Five, Inc. and seven public offerings of equity capital, together totaling $5.925 billion, and another ongoing offering of $2 billion. Justin has encouraged his team to think innovatively and respond dynamically. He has developed a knack for identifying valuable hotels in strong markets and driving performance through asset management and strategic property improvements.

Kristian "Krissy" Gathright, currently serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for Apple REIT Seven, Inc. In addition to her role at Apple REIT Seven, she currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Apple REIT Six, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc., Apple REIT Nine, Inc. and Apple REIT Ten, Inc. Ms. Gathright also served as Chief Operating Officer of Apple Hospitality Two, Inc. from 1999 until May of 2007 when the company was sold to an affiliate of ING Clarion. She also served as Sr. Vice President of Operations for Apple Hospitality Five, Inc. from its inception in 2002 until it was sold to Inland American Real Estate Trust in 2007. Mrs. Gathright has been in the real estate investment industry since 1996. Prior to managing the Apple companies, she served as Assistant Vice President and Investor Relations Manager for Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, a REIT focusing on the ownership and management of apartment homes in Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Texas. From 1996 to 1998, she was an Asset Manager and Regional Controller of the Northern Region Operations for United Dominion Realty Trust, Inc., a Real Estate Investment Trust headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. And, prior to that time she was an auditor with Ernst & Young.

David McKenney serves as President of Capital Markets for Apple REIT Seven, Inc. as well as Apple REIT Six, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc., Apple REIT Nine, Inc. and Apple REIT Ten, Inc. Mr. McKenney also served as President of Capital Markets for Apple Hospitality Two, Inc. from its inception until May of 2007 when the Company was sold to an affiliate of ING Clarion and Apple Hospitality Five, Inc. from its inception until it was sold to Inland American Real Estate Trust in October of 2007. Mr. McKenney has been with Apple REIT Six and its sister companies since their beginnings and during that time has overseen seven public offerings of equity capital totaling $5.925 billion, an ongoing offering of $2 billion and a $425 million merger of two REITs. In addition, he oversees the Investor Services department of the Company.

Bryan Peery serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Apple REIT Seven, Inc. In addition, he also serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Apple REIT Six, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc., Apple REIT Nine, Inc. and Apple REIT Ten, Inc. Mr. Peery served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Apple Hospitality Two, Inc. until it was sold to an affiliate of ING Clarion in May of 2007 and Apple Hospitality Five, Inc. until it was sold to Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. in October of 2007. Mr. Peery is a Certified Public Accountant and joined the companies at the end of 2003 and has since been a driving force on the Apple team, overseeing financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and forecasting for the company.

David Buckley, serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Counsel for Apple REIT Seven, Inc. He also serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Counsel for Apple REIT Six, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc., Apple REIT Nine, Inc. and Apple REIT Ten, Inc. each of which is a real estate investment trust. Mr. Buckley served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Apple Hospitality Two, Inc. from 2005 until May of 2007 when the company was sold to an affiliate of ING Clarion and Apple Hospitality Five, Inc. from 2005 until October of 2007 when the company was sold to Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. Mr. Buckley oversees the company's SEC filings, property closings and all other legal matters.
